Do you have to pay back financial aid money when you drop out of college?

i got 1700 back from finacial aid that wasnt used and im really thinking about dropping out of college at this point of my life i dont think im ready for school now. but my question is will i have to pay the 1700 back if i decided to drop out now
i spent the money already
i recieved it as a check

yes, if you got it in cash. if they just give you credit towards tuition. then no.
