How long do I have to wait before I can re-apply for financial aid?!?

I had unexpected complication with my pregnancy this past fall and failed the quarter in college. I received a letter saying I was dropped from the school and had lost my financial aid. How long do I have to wait to re-apply? I'm changing my major as well...does that make a difference? Please help! Thanks

Losing your financial aid usually has to do with your GPA. You don't have to reapply for the 07-08 year. You need to work something out as far as your GPA is concerned with your financial aid office.

I had a similar issue when I came back to school this semester after leaving for 4 yrs. I had been sick and my GPA dropped. They told me I didn't qualify for financial aid. I filed an appeal with the financial aid office telling them what had happened and how it wasn't going to happen again and why. They gave me my financial aid.
