In Resident Evil 4 Wii edition, how do you use the first aid spray?

It always says dicard of examine and it never says use. How CAN you use the first aid spray?

There should be a "Use" option somewhere???

But, perhaps it doesn't let you use it UNLESS you have take some damage...

If your life gauge is full, you probably can't use it...
