CPR/First Aid stories?

Hello!

I am a college student that is having problems with my homework....
I have an assignment for my health class to describe an accident that happened in my family that either CPR related actions or was a very serious injury. Problem is: Nobody I know HAS any stories.
So that is where I need your help. Give me your horrible car accident, wisdom tooth gone wrong, stuck between a rock on a camping trip, all of those stories.
The most descriptive story that I can use for my assignment gets best answer!
I forgot to mention! I need you to tell me what was done about the injured person. How the people around responded etc.
Your actions don't have to be the "proper first aid " or whatever actions, I just have to know that for my assignment then talk about what SHOULD have been done.

My dad had a heart attack on the tennis court.
(Well, technically, it's not called a heart attack, because it's an arrythmia where the heart just stops beating - look up "sudden death" online).
Anyway, one second he's hitting balls, the next, he face-dives into the pavement.
Everyone was in a panic, then this girl comes out of nowhere and performs CPR on him until the ambulance got there.
He lived (although he has since died after another episode in the middle of the night, and I was the only one home, and didn't hear anything).
The girl just left afterwards, so my Dad was sad that he never got to thank her.
