Crushed Fingernail First Aid?

About 4 hours ago my 2nd after pinkie nail was crushed by the force of 3 stack high plastic pallet with about 27 35lb propane tanks above point of impact leaving a black penlike coloration roughly half as wide as the fingernail at a point roughly half way up it's exposed length. The color around the black coloration is only barely noticeably more pale from above the affected finger nail compared to the other fingernails. From the front at the print side the fingerprint clearly more pale with a pulse like pain indicative of some bloodflow restriction.
Any recommended first aid for the slightly pulse like pain whenever the affected finger is wiggled or the wound in general or just watch and rest it or??

it's probably gonna get worse before it gets better. definately sit or lay with your hand propped up. the higher the better. it will ease the throbbing a bit. ice is always good.
if it gets too bad go to a clinic and a doctor might put a tiny hole in the nail to drain the blood and relieve pressure.
