Whats the silliest thing you can recall from your food service past?

I recall once I had a table of 6 people 2 parents and 4 kids.
They all ordered bbq ribs. when I came to take the plates I asked " Would you like me to bag some bones for your dog?" The eldest daughter turned to the mother and said " Should we bring home some bones for the dog?"
the mother replied " Honey we don't have a dog"
