Just say that for now, you think it would be better to stay friends. That way, you are not saying no. But at the same time, it means you just need time to think about it, and NOW is not a good time. I mean, you never want to shut out a possibility, because a LOT of the time, people change their minds. You never know...you could end up liking him later on. So don't say NO, just say for NOW you wanna be friends. Good luck!
