i'm falling for one of my ex boyfriend's best friends. what should i do?

i dated this guy almost 2 years ago. it was intense, but only lasted about 4 months. it ended horribly, he said i wasn't right for him. we all have the same friends so we still see each to this day. his best friend and i have gotten close over the past year or so, finally hooking up last summer a couple times. no one really knew about it, because my best friend also likes this guy and has hooked up with him as well (it never became anything with them). me & this guy have been hanging out a lot lately, we flirt a lot, talk everyday, and idk what to do. he says that he wishes he met me separate from everyone else so we could become something. this makes me feel like ive been rejected w/o even offering. yet, he stills flirts w me, we still talk, and its undeniable theres something btwn us. our last drunken time together i texted him that i was confused, he kept asking why, telling me to stop bsing so i just said 'theres feelings there'. this was 24 hrs ago. havent heard back yet
