i want to be a friend..how can i??

ok so this is kinda related to my last question. my ex was good friends with me before but he got all mad whenver id go with other guys when we were broken up. and so now he doesnt even wanna be my friend, but i really like him alot and care about him still. no one else in my school likes him and the ones he thinks are his friends arent. this girl hes 'friends' with is just using him for skateboarding lessons and the others are just too nice to tell him to his face. I am trying to tell him that and that I can be his friend but he wont listen to me. He keeps saying he cant trust me and sicne he doesnt like my friends nad his 'friends' dont like me that we cant be friends. but really i like him more than anyone else. how can i convince him that im his only true friend so he doesnt get hurt by it all later???
