Can i just asked my relative/friend to have my papers authenticatd at the...

...UAE Embassy?or it has to be prsonal? i have already authenticated my documents at dfa. the next thing that i should do is to have it authenticated at UAE Embassy, but i am far from manila.and if i'll process my papers through an agency it would cost me a lot.so am asking if a friend or relative in manila could make it for me, to authenticate my papers?i really need your response the quickest possible time.thank you so much for you time.
