Does 1 of my closest guy friends like me?

ok, so im friends with this freakin awesome guy. hes cute, funny, artistic, athletic, intellegent, honest, and all that stuff. i tell him everything thats going on in my life and he always helps me fix my problems. we've been like this for like, a year.
but i noticed that lately hes been acting different. he trys to talk to me more in the halls at school and he trys to show off infront of me.and he got me to tell him that he looks very hot. it seems like hes trying to get my attention more often than before, we talk like, every day.

what i want to know is if he likes me without me asking him(because he'll denie it)? if he does like me, i want to know what i should do. i mean, should i just ignore it or what because i don't want something like that to make our relationship worse.

we're in the same grade and we're going to the same high school next year.
i do like him. i always hav. he's like, the only one who understands me. and i know that sounds weird because we're only 14.
