advice needed to help friend in misery?

i ave a friend, now an actualy friend who needs my advice and i cant give it to her because i dont know what to say or what angle to take.

Basically she was going out with this guy but they had a bad week and didnt seem to be getting on so she dumped him. And i thought that was okay and all and then she started getting closer to this guy she talks to over msn messenger that she met once and she feels something towards him.

We used disney characters[ yes we are in high school] for her and her ex e.g. prince charming and sleeping beauty and now she calls him her his prince charming and her names fiona so he calls her princess fiona, the guy over the internet calls here that is.

Now i believe she regrets breaking up with her ex.I believe she misses and has shown signs of it.

So does she really care for this guy over the internet? or does she care for her ex?is she trying to replace her ex with this guy over the internet i.e. using her exs old nickname for him.What advice sho

shes tryin to get over her ex by putting someone else in his mold. she cant get over the fact that she broke up with her ex and she wants to feel close to someone else.

You're in high school, so why make this an issue like it's divorce court or something. Enjoy being a kid while you can, and play the field, it's not like you're getting married to any of these people.
