My friend made a comment about my wedding.......kinda pissed!?

the location of my wedding is not in the most glamourous part of town but its a beautiful venue inside. i wanted a church wedding but u cant drink and our families are partyers! so i was already wondering would u be blessed if its not in church.but my mom said yes cuz she was married outside!and theyve been married 27 years! am i overreacting? what would u make of this? one of my firends agreed with me.

If you want a church wedding why not have the wedding ceremony at a church and the reception at the venue you have chosen? I'm confused as to why your family would need to drink at a church ceremony, usually that is at the reception which may be different where you are but here they traditionally are not held at the church. I think hard work, real love, compromise, and consideration is what will make a marriage work. I know plenty of couples that were married in a church and have divorced. What is the comment that you are pissed about? Is that not the question? I'm very confused.
