...closet & he's stalking me. Please no stupid answers.

About a week ago my best friend came out of the closet and told me he wanted to be more then friends with me. (I'm straight but certainly not homophobic)

So after a few days of thinking about it I told him I'd still be his friend but NOTHING more than that and he doesn't seem to want to accept that as an answer. It's actually kind of creepy- He constantly calls, e-mails, and stops by my house. He says things like that If I don't accept him then he'll kill himself and he sounds very unstable. Its upsetting because we've been friends for many years and both of our families are close to one another.

But how can I stay his friend or even feel comfortable around him when he's acting like this??

Help.
