Should i have a friend (girl) buy these jeans?

I've been really getting into the alternative music dress scene, and I've been looking into buying quite a few pairs of men's skinny jeans. I already have a nice pair of Levi's 511 custom edition, but I was walking with a friend, and I spotted these awesome skinny jeans. However, there is an awkward part to this. They are women's skinny jeans. I have built up the desire to have these jeans, but I don't want to look awkwardly displaced when buying them. should i have a friend of mine that is a girl buy them for me? FEEDback, please.
