My friend has a crush on my crush!?

Well I have started liking this guy since the begining of the year since we were patners on a field trip for 3 days! So I did not tell my friend because she would tease me (so much for a friend) anyway so now she told me yesterday that she has a crush on him. I told him I thought she only liked cute guys (he's semi cute) she said his personality made up for his lack of cuteness. I Don't know how to tell her that I like him too! And I know he would probably not ask me out or anything but I'm not sure I'd be comfterable with her going out with him, she has a way better chance of going out with him. So what do I do? She's not the kind of girl that understands me so much but sticks up for me that 's why she's my friend. I value her friendship more then this guy obviously!! If I tell her she would think that the only reason I like him because she likes him!!! What do I DO?
