Why is it that when I play yahoo pool through messenger with my friends they can't...

...hear the sound effects? I asked this and got one answer about making sure the audio button is clicked off, I checked all that out and they still have no sound. If I use the yahoo phone and connect to them that way they can hear from my computer. There sound is checked. I know playing online with strangers there is a button to check. This is for playing through yahoo messenger, one on one. They all have newer computers. I even had them upload the newer version of yahoo and still, they hear everything else except when playing yahoo pool. They have newer computers as well. Do anyone else have this problem? I wrote yahoo and they said they need to hear from the people with the prob not me. Problem being some are not as comfortable with computers and they can't do it themselves....yet. Its such a fun game to play. I just wish they could hear the sound effects when they do. I did check my brothers system and all that needed to be checked was, and still only yahoo pool don't give him sound. Please help.
