gifts for friend recovering from injury?

I'm going to see a friend in a couple weeks that broke his leg skiing. The last time I saw him I took him some cupcakes, but I'd like to put more together for him next time. What are some good suggestions for someone who has limited mobility for a while? He's in his 30s, likes to read, play games, etc. Pretty simple stuff.

magazines movies, if he has a computer get a Netflix monthly account it is less then so bucks and he can watch movieson computer and rent them. Puzzle books, music, ..........
