If I have ins and lend my car to a friend w/o ins will my ins pay cost of damages...

...to my car & other person's I do not have a car right now and therefor have no insurance. My best friend has a car and I told her I would get insurance to cover me if I drive her car. We were wondering if the uninsured motorist part of her full coverage policy would cover damages to her car and any other if I was driving without insurance. Would it cover medical as well?
