help with what to do with my friend?

I am friends with a girl. I made her a valentine and told her about it via an IM. She hasn't responded to me at all. She has stopped talking to me. I ran into her last week and she said everything was fine, but she was very unconvincing. I didn't know i did anything wrong. I made it to her as a friend. I called her up today and left her a message saying that it wasn't romantic or anything, it was just as a friend, and i thought she knew that. I told her to get back to me tonite and she never did. I am really hurt cuz i really dont want to lose her as a friend but i am also very angry at her. Is there anything i can do?? I was thinking bout leaving her an IM saying why r u being so mean to me, i thought i was doing something nice, it is very rude of u to not respond at all and to not give me an explanation, and i dont understand why making a valentine would make u stop talking to me......help me...i need some advice cuz i dont know what to do...it is bugging me cuz i dont understand it
