i like this girl, she is my friend, i like her alot..........?

i met het at this show but i knew her for like 3 years but i didnt talk to her, this year i started to talk to her on myspace, texting her, and at school some times. Im really shy around her, he call each other best friends but i dont really feel like we are cause at school we hardy talk but i really like her, i dont know if i should make a move or not, cause i dont want to ruin what we have so far, we tell each other "I Love You" but just messing (I think). Well yeah i dont know wired. I just want tips on how not to be shy and ways to for me to make her feel special......
so if you can HELP it would be great. Thanks :]
