My friend thinks my teacher has a crush on me!?!?!?

so my friend was visiting for spain. She is coming to my school next year . Well my school had parent/student/teacher conferences. I just went and she came along. She thought my teacher has a huge crush on me! I explained how he's always calling me little nicknames and stuff. And today at the conference the first thing he said was "Mary and I have a good relationship" and he was complainging how i never come in for extra help. And then when he was leaving and we were waiting for the next open teacher he tells me to open my hand and he buts some mints and a little dove chocolate in my hand. He also laughed at stuff i said. My friend seriously thinks that he likes me.
