i might hang out with a friend tonight who does coke...should i cancel??

i might go out with some people tonight, one of the girls is an old friend of mine, she's the only one i know out of the group of people. and i kind of want to go...but i kind of don't. this girl does coke, she didn't back when we used to be best friends, but she does now. and i know that if i hang out with these people tonight, it's going to be offered to me. i've never tried coke and i don't really want to. but i'm really bad at turning away stuff and i feel like i'd go in headstrong against it but then once i'm there i'll be like "oh screw it i might as well try it." that's what happened the first time i tried pot. and then i went through a phase where i smoked it all the time. and i really don't want that to happen to me again, even more so with something like this. it's not like i feel pressured, it's more like i don't have the self control to turn down something that seems exciting in the moment. should i blow my friend off tonight and just avoid the whole situation??
