Is my friend mad at me?

Help! I'm not sure if my friend is mad at me. I was on i-m w/ her and I said "I bet I aced that test!" she said "No, I checked and you missed about 5." I told her that she doesn't know everything and she's not always right. Then, she signed off. Does that mean she's mad at me?

Yes, she is probably made that you aced the test and she didn't. It sounds more like she is jealous of you than she is mad at you.

Call her to find out. People get disconnected from the net for all kinds of reasons. It's hard to judge emotion or intent over AIM.
