Guys like me, but my friends do not?

I've come to notice something really really odd.
And like my question asks, I've let so many relationships slip out of my hands.
When I'm around guys I'm myself. When asked what I'm into, I'll respond truthfully, "cartoons, rock, etc..." but I've noticed one particular friend always rolls her eyes. I know I'm not a mature person, but some guys seem to dig my immaturity, and yes I do have my mature moments too.
Is it so wrong to talk to a guy about cartoons, and then have a friendly debate over whats going on in the world?! My friend sure doesn't think so.
So far I've gotten fine with other people, but some of my friends say I need to grow up and act my age, but when I do act "mature" I'm being "stuck up."
What do i do? Act like someone I'm not, for the sake of my friends, and my "personal growth" or act like myself since it's been fine up to now?
