HELP! best friend? boyfriend? no friend?

one of my best guy friends is moving! and i've always known he liked me. well now i feel bad because he is leaveing and i never gave him a chance. but im only in jr. high and i dont like him like that at all. i never could! but he is making me very mad. i just got my hair done 2day and it looks really cute. but he told me now im an even dumber blonde. and the guy i really really like likes blondes! so this is a plus 4 me! but my friend keeps saying stuff like he hates blondes he likes brunettes and your too much of a girly girl if u were more tom boyish he would like you. my friend is always telling me im pretty and nice and funny, but when i say anything about the guy i really like he has 2 come back at me with something i need 2 change 2 get this other guy 2 like me. oh and whenever i do or say something dumb he tells every guy at our lunch table about it then they all laugh! and the guy i like sits there!!! what should i do about him?? is he my best friend??

Uh thats not a friend. Thats a jealous person. Definitely let him move and if he still wants to be friends. At least you can without having to deal with him being a jerk.

Ok, whatever you do don't reinforce what he is doing. What most bullies want is self-gratification (or anyone that is picking on someone for that matter). In other words, if he knows that it is bothering you he will persist on doing it, since that is what he is trying to accomplish.

Try ignoring him, and see if that gets him to stop insulting you.
