Random, but has been bugging my friends and i, involving a disgusting teacher.?

What are the white, crusty balls in peoples ears? My gross teacher has them, he has no clue, it bugs friends and me! They are lodged in there and the next day, there will be a bloody slit where they were on him. It's completely disgusting and since he's a chronic sweater, it makes it even worse.
Anybody have any sort of clue what they are and why this idiot doesn't notice them?! It bothers my whole class. We can never concentrate because he's so gross.
