Do you guys end up falling for your friends that are girls most of the time?

If you are good friends with a girl and she's not ugly, do you stick around for the friendship or are you friends because it might lead to something someday? Do you guys end up having crushes on the girls that you consider good friends? Well, what are they like? What do you like about you friends that are girls, assuming you have any? Do you guys ever bother having ugly friends that are girls?
