What do I say to my friend that her mom calls her a mistake?

So my best friend in the entire world is sitting in biology and starts crying. I ask her what’s wrong and she says that she never should have been born and that her mom calls her a mistake. She says that after she was born, her parents divorced, her dad hates her, she gets screamed at whenever she does anything wrong, while if her sister does something wrong she gets “babied”, then she still gets yelled at when her sister does bad stuff, she gets blamed for every thing and is constantly called by her mom a mistake. She has talked about wanting to die and that is the last thing I would ever want to happen. So I try to tell her that it is not her fault, etc. but I get the feeling that she thinks that I don’t understand. I really want to show her that she has people that care about her. I was thinking that I should write her a personal letter saying that she has so many people that care about her, but I don’t know what all to put in it. Should I even do this? What do I say? Please help

Tell her God doesn't make mistakes.
Her mom is the mistake, she sounds evil. Your friend needs to keep her head up and know that she is a good person even when her mom says different. It might be beneficial for your friend to look in the mirror everyday and say good things about her so she really starts to believe it, even if her mom says bad things. Just compliment your friend when she does anything good, or looks good that day. Help her save up money so when she turns 18 she can get the hell outta there and away from her evil mother's verbal abuse.

it must be really hard to do that. wat you should do is take it in as your situation and see what you should do. come over to her house if you can and comfort her. tell her that its going to be alright and when you grow up, you can do anything you want. shes not a mistake, she's a gift from god thats staying strong.

Comfort your friend...tell her that those who are born are never a mistake...it wasn't your friend's fault, it was her parents...Tell her that she will always have a family, and that's you and your other friends...and if you still need help, contact your counslors or talk to her parents..

Just let her know how she has had such a greatimpact on your life and the life of those around her. Tell her how some people leave such a deep mark inyour life that you never forget them and just makes you think how crappy and bad yoru life would be if they had never come in to your life. Tell her how much she has touched others lifes. Let see all the stupid things you haven't done beacuse ofher and how boring and empty life without would be.

Some friends are like precious gems. They are so beautifull and have such a value that they make you feel liek the richest person in the world.

A beutifull soul like her could never have been a mistake. The mistake is calling her the mistake and not calling her a blessing.
