i think i like my best friend?

i think i like my best guy friend. hes so nerdy but in a funny-cute way. he is far from hot but he has these moments when i dont think hes too bad looking. he makes me laugh all the time and hes concerned about me if something is wrong. he even waits for me after classes. hes asked me out before but i turned him down because i liked someone else who is now my boyfriend. my boyfriend has gotten jealous a few times and i understand. i know he deserves better than me but if i break up with him, it would be hard to let go. but if i go out with rodney (my friend) then i wont have the same feelings anymore and our friendship would change. below is a picture of rodney..
