Friend or Boyfriend?

my problem is that i have a guy friend i know him since like almost like a year now and he treats me like a his gf we were goin out on feb 2 of this year and we split like 5 days later and stuff and like he was treating me like if he didnt' want nothin wit me but since my mom talked to him and stuff about me and cleared things he started to talk to me and stuff and when my mom went to L.A to a funeral of her cousin he was coming every day for 5 days later my mom came and he wasnt coming that much but in those five days he was huggin me not letting me go kissin my hand and stuff most of the time then later on he would go to my house to hang out with my bro he would hug me alot and want a kiss from me and i would kiss him in the cheek and stuff but now it's been like really weird cuz he always wants a kiss on the cheek wants me to call him but i just wanted to know like what can i do should i still be wit him or do i back out or should i treat him like a friend or a bf
what should i do?
