BEST FRIEND trouble? best answerer gets the points ;-)!?

okay so this isn't the first time its happened, but my so called "best Friend" blew me off AGAIN today. last time i saw him was on Sunday, that's almost 4 days! He went to see one of our friends, that wouldn't have bothered me because i would have probably went with him, but the problem is that he didn't intend to tell me that he was going there. Usually he walks home with me after school, but today he left without even telling me! So i went out after him, and i asked him where he was going. He said Jesse's and just kept walking. Isn't the least he could have done is waited for me!?!?!?! Should i still consider him my Best Friend if i don't hang out with him more than twice a week???

1) You can't tell him who to or not hang out with, you also don't have the right to tell him where he can/can't go. He's probably really annoyed that your doing that.

2) He could be outgrowing you and extending his social branches which is not to say he doesn't still see you as one of his best/good friends

3) It's not the amount of time you hang out with someone, it's the quality time. I have 2 best friends in my life, but we only hang out every couple of months due to the fact were all away at school, but we manage to keep in contact via phone and email.

4) Give your friend some breathing room, if he's TRULY your best friend, he will make time for you

Everyone's life gets hectic... and your best friend has other friends to hang out with too. It might be that his schedule is a bit busier than normal.

Try and talk to your friend; perhaps something is bothering him? Did you two have a fight? Maybe it's a problem at home...

Best friends doesn't mean hanging out every day... it's being able to trust, value, and love each other. If you can still do all of those three things... he's still your best friend.
