My gay friends are becoming a nuisance to my gay wedding planning -help!!!?

My lovely fiance and I are getting gay married on April 5th. We are paying for the entire shebang ourselves. Our wedding is very small.

Our gay friends came out of the woodwork and literally begged (hello, we haven't seen you in years, honey!) to be attendants. Yet, not one of our gay buds has been helpful.

When we asked about venues for bachelorette parties they asked questions such as: "can it be somewhere 18 yr olds can go cause my new gf who you've never met is underage."

When we asked that our attendants wear gray or black one queen insisted on wearing purple!

When one crafty dyke saw my amazing handmade veil, she went out and made one in ruby red because as she said: "when else will I have an opportunity to wear a veil other than your wedding?"

the list goes on.

I want to tell my gay buds: "Do you not get that this is a WEDDING?! It is about the union of my fiance and myself. Its our special day, not theirs.

What do y'all think? Has anyone else experienced this?
