Got my friend in trouble?

i know.. dumb story.. but what should i do? Me and my other friend kind of just ran through my friends house to each find a washroom (We had to go BADLY) right after school and he thought his parents weren't home. So when I come out, I realize that his mom IS there but was in her room and when I went back outside, I could hear him getting yelled at, because of what we did. So my friend comes outside all sad, and I wanted to go apologize for what I did, but when I was going to he stopped me and told me not to. What should I do now? His parents already don't like most of the people he brings over, and we only made it worse.
