Is it wrong for me to be upset with my brother for wanting to be friends with my

husband during our divorce? My brother insists that there is nothing wrong with him being friends with my future husband, who doesn't pay his child support and refuses to move out of our home so that our daughter can have her home, bedroom, toys, just comfort of home. How can he be best friends with a man that treats his sister and niece in such a manner?

He just doesn't want to be in the middle of things. So he is keeping his family and friends seperate.

I understand where you are coming from but to put your brother in between such a mess is ruining your realtionship with him. Just becuase THEY are friend does not mean YOU have to engage yourself in HIS (the divorced guy) presence. I believe that doing that will diffently cause friction where it doesn't need to be.

This is a tough one...because I personally have/had no problem with any of my siblings remaining friends with my ex after we divorced...but my ex isn't an azzhole and is a wonderful father to our kids.....I suppose that I would feel the same way as you if my ex behaved the way your soon to be ex does....I honestly don't know how your brother would want to remain friends with a man that doesn't want to be responsible for his own child...But you can't control who your brother chooses as friends...
