Why do the genealogies of Jesus, presented in Matthew and Luke, seem to be

indicating two different lines ? Why do the genealogies of Jesus, presented in Matthew and Luke, seem to be indicating two different lines that Jesus came through. How do I reconcile the differences?

I don't know that, but here are two more questions to ponder:

Why does Jesus make the argument in all three synoptic gospels that the Jewish Messiah cannot be of the House of David, when both Matthew and Luke have genealogies that supposedly mean he fulfills that requirement?

Why does his family, including his mother, think he's crazy in the Gospel According to Mark, when supposedly miraculous happenings and prophecies recounted in Matthew and Luke have already told them that he has a special relationship with God?
