| Are you requires to stay home from work if you have pink eye and work in the restaurant business? The reason I am asking is that my friend is an assistant manager at a coffee shop and somehow contracted pink eye. She works with the machines and serves and makes drinks, but when she informed her boss, he told her she still had to come in. I was always under the impression that this was an infectious disease and that you were required by the health code to stay home until you were no longer sick. I guess I need to know how to find out if this is actually a health code violation?      |
