How can I play Counter Strike with my computer of Windows Vista Business?

Hi!
Everytime I enter the screen of choosing sides (Counter-Terrorists or Terrorists), my computer freezes when I play Counter Strike 1.6.
It also happens with Counter Strike: Condition Zero.
It works only with Counter Strike: Source.
Does anybody have any solution to solve this problem?
Please help me! I like to play Counter Strike 1.6...

Try a re-install and be sure to close all programs and turn off any wireless internet devices while doing so, the incoming and outgoing data can interrupt the installation process.
