Career Choice. Major. Or study Area?

I really like looking into the Aztec, and Mayan history. I like everything that deals with it. The mythology, the ruins, the history, everything.
Is there anything, Other than archeology and anthropology, that i can look into?
what study area or major. and what kind of career choices would have with that?
