How old should you be before ending a rockstar career?

well when im like 20 which is like 7yrs fr now i want 2 b a guitarist in a band. evryone makes it seem like your career ends when ur 30. which means u get about a solid 10 yrs of a rock career. but i know u can still party and rock on =).. when ur in ur 30's. but in your 40's they say its time 2 stop. but sum bands dont stop. so wat do u guys think?

dont call me stupid n stuff.. i know a lot about rock n its history.
just answer my question.
