| Does getting your teaching license through the career switch er alternate route
versus ed. degree affect salar salary? I have a BS in Journalism and a Master's in New Media. In 5 years I plan on leaving journalism and teaching high school english and journalism in middle/high school. Since my background is in Journalism and if I go the alternate career switcher routes versus a masters in teaching will this affect salary and the ease of getting a teaching job? I live in Virginia and plan on being a teacher in Virginia
