| Career Advice: Networking? Late in my junior year I realized that I wanted a career in IT instead of Finance. Being a former HS computer science major I was familiar with the field. Because of my bad timing I am limited to just picking up a minor in IT. I have my CCNA cert and will have the CCNP cert by this May. My problem is that I'm currently a senior applying for fulltime positions in networking, but not getting far. I have a bunch of internships in finance/marketing/operations but nothing mildly tech related. Furthermore, my GPA is somewhat deceiving with a 3.0 overall but a 3.7 in IT courses. What can I do to make up for the lack of experience? I'm running out of ideas to word my cover letters. Any ideas?      |
