Need advice on a career in Speech pathology.?

I am 22 with some college experience but no degree. I want to go back to school and study speech-language pathology. I was on ASHA's website, and it says that you have to take the CCC through them to become accredited. But you must have a graduate degree first (master's or doctorate). My question is, how long (approx.; I know if will differ according to my transfer credits) will it take to get your master's to even take the exam? Any speech pathologists out there that have any advice are much appreciated. I'm just starting out and I'm thankful for any helpful advice!
