| royal marines or para's as a career move? iv checked the royal marine website and saw lots of specialisations to train in, i.e. assault engineer, mountain leader, aircrewman, intelligence. Get 60 days holiday 15-26k a year as a private alot of trades that would carry over in civvy life. Then trying to find information on the parachute regiment there doesnt seem to be any sort of trade i could train in other than firing various weapons. anyone correct me if im wrong, thanks |

| your right, royal marines are the army side of the navy and as such have all the functions the normal army have. the paras are a bunch of really hard buggers who are trained to kill people by jumping out of aeroplanes and landing on them. you choose do you want a career or do you just want to specialise in the nastier side of warfare. |
