Would putting John Cena in the main event at Backlash give John Cena more backlash? i mean. hes already hated enough as is. the writers should have kept him away from the championship for Backlash at least. Cena could have gone to make 12 rounds for a month and then come back and continue in the championship picture. Dont get me wrong. i think Cena is a tremendously hard worker and wrestler. but i just dont see how this helps his hate towards him. keeping him in the championship scene. What are your opinions?

It's a bad move as i'm sure the production people are aware of the heat Cena is drawing and how unpopular he has now become. In the rush to bring back Cena from injury so quickly, WWE have forgot about "oversell".The rush to keep the merchandise selling has outweighed creative sense. It would have been far better just to make it a triple threat & keep Cena off the radar for now.Putting in JBL was a swerve to make it interesting and spice up the match.Fans will now think it's a case of deja vu with Cena in the title picture again. As much as Cena works hard, this won't help his popularity or help him get over with the critics. It would have been to his advantage had he stepped down to feud with someone like Mr Kennedy who use a high-profile match with Cena to help his own career.

I Think That John Cena Will Get Booed Once Again ANd Be hated by the crowd and possibly he will get stuff thrown at him like at ECW One Night Stand 2006,i think they only put him there to keep him in the title chase,i also think that it is a bad idea band think Cena needs some time away form the WWE Championship so other guys can have it.

Of course they put him in Backlash! These are probably the same morons who thought I'd be a great idea for Cena to keep retaining his title all year long 2 years ago. These new age of WWE is clueless..I hope they give us something exciting in the coming months.

Yes it will. Wouldn't it make sense for HHH and JBL to team up and increase their chances of winning the title? Why give Cena a chance to win and make the match harder? Basically, it is a bad move. Cena gets a controverisally mixed reaction, which is bad for his reputation overall. John Cena being randomly inserted into the main event hurts WWE a lot more than the random insertion of JBL into the main-event area of RAW. **starred**

WWE is really struggling to bring more wrestlers to the top so, the people who have made it to the top WWE has to keep there. And agreed WWE, shouldnt keep putting cena right at the top especially since hes still ment to be injured

I have a feeling that they are making John Cena out to be the guy who doesnt quit and will keep fighting till he gets what he wants, the WWE title, with creative thinking that by doing this the crowd will get behind him in is challenge for the title! However the fans all seem to be doing the opposite - hating the fact that Cena is once again in the Main Event I dont personally see whats so bad about Cena - yes his Move Set is limited, but he is very dedicated to the business and works harder than most, he has star quality and knows how to work a crowd. I have always admired his 'never say die' character, also how he takes on all comers - but i guess this type of persona must have died out as the fans no longer seem to enjoy seeing someone overcome all adversitys and now see it as hogging the limelight for a little longer than they would like!
