geography help!?

im doing a geography project and i need a well known country that has had earthquake and volcanoe activity recently!
please give details and any websites that can help me!
if posible could it be a country which is easy to find information on the internet about its population and weather it is a LEDC or a MEDC! what do those things mean aswell!

An LEDC means "less economically developed country" and these are usually to the south of the globe (look up the brantt line)
An MEDC means "more economically developed country" and these are generally to the north of the globe.

As Christopher below said, iceland has a lots of volcanic activity and there is lots of information about iceland on the internet.

Iceland is a MEDC by the way, lol.

but i'f ur after case studies i'd go to

its my school's website for geography and it has loads of case studies on it, go to year 10 or 11(GCSE) they should all be there
