| the geographical splitting of european land mass from the african continent left africa semi isolated in fauna and tropical conditions. Instead of needing to travel/trade african societys became small and fragmented in the interior. The edges of the continent then became influenced by asian and european influences. This is still the case of certain parts of the interior african continent , despite progress. |
