All drivers should be banned from cell phones while driving because of a few importanat reasons. Doing anything else while driving should be banned from driving because they are all distractions that can lead to trouble. Driving is a task that needs tremendous amount of concentration to be able to finish the job safely. The safety of you or of other people that is on your venhicle is extremly important. While the distraction can lead to your injury, it can also cause problems for you passengers. Ways that doing things other than driving can distract you are these: you eyes won't be sticked to the road incase something happens infront of you; you ears won't be concentrated on the sounds cars make from outside incase something happens; and you will be relaxed, so you hand or your feet could slip off the control panel. Cell phones in particular can also set you into a foul mood. If you're talking to someone you fought with or something close to that and it made your emotions unstable, all you'll be thinking about would be the person. You mind won't be concentrated onthe road, thus causing accidents. Another thing that should also be included is the radiation coming from the phone while you're talking. Most peopl right now don't wear earphones when they're talking on the phone, in the car or outside. But they don't know that the radiation coming from the control center and the radiation send from their cell phones are damaging a small piece of your brain every second. Cell phone earphones are slowly developing into newer models and becoming wireless again, so they seems "cooler", but the thing is, that the radiation still did not change between the wireless earphone and the cell phone, because there is a constant signal going back and porth from the earphone to the cell phone. Thus the brain is still damaged. This shouldn't happen much, but if a person has been in the radiation zone for too long, he/she might get an headache or something else, causing prolems again for the driver. These are all the things i could think of. I hope this helped! Best of luck! |
