| Vista / DVD / Hardware Acceleration?
I have bought a very good and high performance laptop (5.1 Vista Rating Score) that runs at 1920x1200 But i have noticed that if i play a dvd with the Hardware Acceleration option enabled, the video is kind of jerky and is trembling. When the option is off then the video is ok. Shouldnt my computer be able to handle that option? Is this good or not? Is it maybe because im running at such a high resolution? Also the laptop has Blu-Ray. Could this option work better with Blu-Ray discs? Thanks      |

I too had the same problem, try to decrypt the dvd using dvd-decrypter and then try to run the saved file (which is also in .vob format) from the hard disk, it should run without a hitch. It's got something to do with copy-protection technique on the dvd, which creates all that problem |
