| Is it normal for a panic disorder to be associated with health problems?
I get panic attacks when I look up medical information, or feel something weird in my body, because I immediately think I have some horrible incurable disease. If I get a bloody nose, I start FLIPPING out. One time I thought I had cancer. If I get a pain in my chest, I immediatly think that I am having a heart attack. I even feel panicky just typing this. Is this a normal cause? Most people I know with the same thing as me have either social phobia or something else. But I think I have hypochondria (not sure of the spelling.) Do I?
